I'm about a third of the way in. Not such a good choice for the first book, but hey, you don't know till you start turning pages, right? This main girl basically has no self control, no intellegence, and absolutely no money. She spends money like no one I have ever known, and the scary part is, that I can sort of relate in some distant abstract way. If I lived in a major city: dolche...milanos...gaps and starbucks on every corner... oh my. There would be a serious problem. Alas, I am going to keep flipping. I have to read the whole first book before posting another one, right? That would be a bad way to start!
Hey Niclive! It's Elizabeth writing from Atlanta. :) I actually just finished the 4th of this series and I love them---Becky Bloomwood is a total mess. The 2nd is that she takes Manhatten. The 3rd she "ties the knot". The fourth one that I just finished is Shopaholic and A Sister. I do agree though-not a realistic world in the least and I can't imagine having that much money to spend. I hope all is well and can't wait to see ya'll at Christmas! :) Love ya'll- EA from Atlanta, GA
