Emily Clarke: Two, Another Year of Painting

Greenville native, Emily Clarke, has an arsenal of over 380 paintings to date. She has etched out a place for herself in the Greenville Arts scene, as one of the very few who understand the basics of arts marketing. (Her background in advertising doesn't hurt!) Recently, I met Emily for coffee and we talked about her own development as an artist and her upcoming show. It was nice to meet an artist who realizes that artists must seek out their audience, not the other way around. She is definitely one of the up and coming of South Carolina's most influential artists. I'd keep an eye on her, if I were you!
